The latest figures from Public Health England show another increase in the number of positive coronavirus tests in Nottinghamshire's hospitals.
The data for Tuesday, April 21, showed five more people tested positive for the virus across Nottingham's two hospitals - taking the total to 391.
Across the wider county, a further 20 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in hospital.
This takes the total number of cases in Nottinghamshire to 888 and 1,279 including Nottingham.
It comes as the medical director at Nottingham's hospitals has confirmed more patients have died having tested positive for the Covid-19 virus.
It was confirmed a further six people had died between April 18-20.
The increase takes the death toll in both the Queen's Medical Centre and City Hospital to 150 people.
Dr Keith Girling, Medical Director at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, said: “Sadly we can confirm that a further six patients have died having tested positive for COVID-19. Regrettably that means that 150 Covid-19 positive patients we were caring for have sadly died since the beginning of March.
“The patients were aged between 65 and 94, and died between the 18 and 20 of April.
“The families have been informed and our thoughts and condolences are with them at this difficult and distressing time.”
In the UK, a total of 17,337 people have died in hospital having tested positive for the virus, a daily increase of 828.
But the figure will be higher when taking into account deaths outside a hospital setting.
