Public appeal launched for information on 17-year-old Selam Tesfaye missing from Dublin

The public has been asked to trace the whereabouts of a 17-year-old missing from her Dublin home.

Selam Tesfaye was last seen in the Glendown Lawns area of Templeogue, Dublin 6 in the early hours of this morning.

She is 5'3", of medium build with long black braided hair and brown eyes.

She is believed to have been wearing a dark green t-shirt, blue jumper and black tracksuit bottoms when she went missing.

A garda spokeswoman said: "Gardaí are seeking the public's help in tracing the whereabouts of Selam Tesfaye who went missing from Glendown Lawns, Templeogue, Dublin 6 in the early hours of this morning Tuesday, 1st September, 2020.

"Selam is 17 years old. She is described as being 5' 3" in height, medium build and with long black braided hair and brown eyes. It is believed that Selam was wearing a dark green t-shirt, blue jumper and black tracksuit bottoms at the time she went missing.

"Anyone with any information on Selam’ whereabouts are asked to contact Terenure Garda Station on 01 666 6400, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station."
