A thug launched a brutal assault on bar staff after being asked to stop pestering female customers at a north London pub.
Two barmen at the Three Crowns in Stoke Newington needed stitches and surgery after the man glassed one in the face and knocked another unconscious. A third staff member suffered a cut to his eye after being punched.
Detectives have released CCTV of the “evil” attack, which took place at about 1.20am on Saturday, November 9.
The pub’s manager, Miguel Campbell Lewis, said the man became aggressive after barman Alessandro Manzi asked him to stop bothering a group of women on the dancefloor.
The attacker smashed a glass in Mr Manzi’s face, punched him to the floor and swung at another member of staff before being escorted outside by a security guard.
CCTV shows the moment Mr Lewis, 28, followed the man out onto the street only to be floored by a punch.
He said: “I walked out the doors and felt this burn… and then I saw the blood, felt it all over my face.”
The attacker, who had arrived with two friends, then grappled with another man before walking away.
He is described as a slim, light-skinned black man aged about 30, with a short beard and dark hair tied in a bunch.
Mr Manzi, 32, needed surgery to remove a piece of glass from the back of his eye and Mr Lewis suffered concussion and also needed surgery.
