It would normally be considered one of the worst breaks ever in a game of pool. But sending the cue ball flying off into the air with the first strike of the game turned into the most amazing - if accidental - trick shot for one pub goer.
Captured on CCTV at The Red Lion in Penyffordd, the incredible footage shows the player line up his shot, only for the white to leap from the table. From there it lands in a very different pocket to those situated on the green baize itself - namely the jacket pocket of another drinker standing nearby.
And the ecstatic reaction of everyone gathered around makes it clear to the viewer exactly how much of a one-in-a-million fluke it actually was. Then, as the onlookers fall about laughing in disbelief, the man in question coolly reaches into his jacket and pulls out the ball.

The clip, which has been shared on the pub's Facebook page, has already racked up thousands of views, reports NorthWalesLive. The video was captioned: "How's this for a trick shot?
The blurb added: "A group of local gents playing pool at the Red Lion Penyffordd yesterday manage to pull off the worst break ever combined with the best trick shot ever...watch to the end!" To which one person in the comment section posted, "I can’t stop watching this!", while another quipped: "Foul that, he pocketed the white!"
