Pub announces temporary closure after staff member tests positive for Covid-19

A Nottinghamshire pub is set to close its doors for 10 days after a staff member tested positive for Covid-19.

The "small and friendly" Round RobINN pub in Main Street, East Leake, which offers food and real ale, confirmed the news on its Facebook page.

The employee tested positive on Sunday, August 8 and due to contact with other staff members, the freehouse will now close for the next 10 days.

The pub posted on social media: "We are so sorry to inform you that unfortunately one of our team members has tested positive for Covid this morning.

"Due to contact with other staff over the last three days we have taken the decision to close the pub for the next 10 days.

"We have continued to be stringent in our cleaning regime and all staff have continued to wear masks so we do hope any risk to customers is minimal."
