Pub and three homes raided by police

Police officers have raided a pub and three homes in Seaforth.

On Friday, February 11, Merseyside Police carried out four early morning warrants at a pub in Waterloo and a number of homes.

Police vehicles including cars, vans and a matrix van were seen parked outside The Alexandra Pub on South Road.

Police confirmed they executed a warrant in a commercial building on South Road this morning, but no arrests were made.

The force also carried out three further warrants in the Waterloo and Seaforth areas.

A 60-year-old man from Seaforth was arrested on suspicion of possession of criminal property after a large quantity of cash was found at the address.

He was taken to a police station in Merseyside where he remains in custody.
