PSV Eindhoven vs Barcelona
Uefa Champions League 2018/19
Venue: The Philips Stadion
Date: Wednesday, 28 November, 2018
Kick-off: 8pm GMT

Barcelona can tighten their group on top spot in Group B when they take on PSV Eindhoven on Wednesday.

The La Liga champions became the first side to qualify for the knockout rounds last time out with Malcom's goal against Inter securing their place in the last 16.

A victory in Netherlands will seal top spot, with a point also good enough if Inter fail to beat Tottenham.

Head to head

This will be the eighth meeting between the two sides with the record a fairly even one with two wins for Barcelona and two wins for PSV – with the other three matches finishing as draws.

Group B permutations

Pos Team P W D L GD Pts
1 Barcelona 4 3 1 0 8 10
2 Inter Milan 4 2 1 1 0 7
3 Tottenham 4 1 1 2 -2 4
4 PSV 4 0 1 3 -6 1

Barcelona are already qualified but a win will see them finish as group winners. If Inter fail to beat Tottenham a draw will be enough for top spot.

Team news

Luis Suarez will miss two weeks of action as he undergoes stem cell treatment on his right knee.

The Uruguayan striker had been suffering pain and was not included in Barcelona's squad for the trip to PSV.

Suarez joins Sergi Roberto on the sidelines, with the midfielder out for three weeks with a hamstring injury sustained against Atletico Madrid on Saturday.

Rafinha was ruled out for the rest of the season with a cruciate ligament injury to his left knee, also sustained in Saturday's 1-1 draw at the Wanda Metropolitano.
