A man needed urgent medical attention after being seriously assaulted in Lurgan last weekend, police say .
He's reported to have been knocked unconscious for a "dangerously long time" and needed to be immediately hospitalised for very serious injuries including potential fractures.
The incident took place at around 1.30am on Sunday March 8 outside The Ashburn Bar on William Street where the victim, was seen getting into a red taxi at the time of the attack.
Police are urging witnesses to come forward with information.
A PSNI spokesperson said: "Please help us investigate by contacting police if you have any information about this, including being witness to the attack or having any footage. Phone 101 and quote serial 172 of the 8th March."
