Police have issued a warning after girls have been asked to send indecent images to a modelling scam on social media.
Young girls have been applying to the Facebook page and police said they have been asked to send compromising and indecent images.
Officers are urging people to do research and report anything inappropriate to Facebook.
An officer for PSNI Lisburn said: "Folks, we would like to highlight an issue that we have recently been made aware of involving people using Facebook pages purporting to be legitimate modelling agencies.
"People are coming into contact with a Facebook page branding themselves as 'The style academy'. Girls who have been applying through them, for work, have been asked to provide compromising and indecent images of themselves.
"We feel the need to highlight the seriousness of these pages as young women can be subject to both blackmail and the exploitation from these images.
"If you have been targeted by these pages please report them to Facebook to have them removed and contact us on 101.
"Please note that there is a legitimate modelling agency known as 'The Style Academy Model Agency Ltd' which is completely above board. Please do your own research and be vigilant before contacting these pages."
