The PSNI has released footage of a drunk driver hitting a pedestrian in a bid to curb the problem.
Police in Magherafelt shared the video from an incident in August 2018 and said that the driver had recently appeared in court.
They said: "On August 12 2018 just before 11.30am, a drunk male got into his car and drove into Maghera..."

The video then shows two people crossing a road before the car crashes into them.
The police added: "Amazingly we didn't end up dealing with a fatility."
The said that the driver was more than three times over the drink drive limit.
They said: "The driver recently appeared in court. Found guilty of driving with excess alcohol he was sentenced and received [a] 16 month driving ban - reduced to 12 on completion of a course. £250 fine."
