The PSNI has lost one of its longest serving police dogs after he "became ill whilst on duty".
Whiskey, who was around six years-old, passed away recently with his handler by his side.
Police said he had an undiagnosed illness that could not be treated.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "Whiskey passed away with his handler by his side at the vets. He had an undiagnosed illness which could not be treated.
"Whiskey was a general purpose dog who worked with his handler on public order incidents and tracking.

"Whiskey’s favourite duty was attending community events where he got to meet and interact with members of the community."
