PSNI issue urgent appeal to find missing sisters aged 5 and 3 from Belfast

*Edit: The two sisters have now been found safe and well by the police.

A PSNI spokesperson said: "Two young girls, five-year-old Paige Speer and three-year-old Cassie Speer from north Belfast have now been found safe and well. Officers are keen to thank members of the public for their support."

Police are appealing to the public for their help to locate two missing children.

Sisters Paige and Cassie Speer are missing from their North Belfast home.

A PSNI appeal says at this time, it is believed they girls may be in the company of a female relative.

Inspector Moutray said: “Paige, who is aged 5, and Cassie, aged 3, were reported missing from their home in Snugville Street yesterday evening (Tuesday 21 December).

"Paige is described as being of light build, with ginger-coloured, curly, shoulder-length hair.

"Cassie is slightly stockier, with tight ginger curls.

"I am appealing to anyone with information on their whereabouts to please contact us on 101, quoting reference number 1635 of 21/12/21."
