PSNI investigating after man "exposed himself" in shopping centre

Police are investigating after a man allegedly exposed himself to two female shop assistants.

The PSNI said that a man exposed himself in both Bangor and Newtownards on Friday.

A spokesman said: "Understandably both ladies are very upset over this incident and we are glad this individual is now in custody.

"Given the two areas and common theme of him going into shops we would be concerned that others may have had the same experience but may not have yet contacted police.

"If there are any other people that feel they have been victim to this individual then please call 101 and quote incident reference CC2019113000420.

"Special thanks to the security staff at Ards Shopping Centre – great work between the CCTV operator, staff on the mall and direct communication with police made this arrest possible."
