Police are appealing for information after thousands of pounds worth of power tools were stolen from a business in Derry.

It was reported that sometime between 2.45am and 3am on Saturday, entry was gained to the premises at Sperrin View Business Park, Glen Road in Maghera.

Approximately £15,000 worth of BOSCH and Milwawkee tools were taken.

In a PSNI appeal yesterday afternoon, a spokesperson said: "Anyone with any information about this incident or who may be able to help with the investigation, is asked to call detectives in Cookstown on 101 quoting reference number 320 25/07/20, or submit a report online using the non-emergency reporting form via http://www.psni.police.uk/makeareport/.

"You can also contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at http://crimestoppers-uk.org/."
