PSNI attend sudden death of 19-year-old man

A community has been plunged into mourning following the sudden death of a young man.

Police were called after the body of a 19-year-old male was discovered in a house in the New Street area of Sion Mills on Sunday, July 28.

Officers said a postmortem is set to take place. No further details have been released.

A PSNI spokesman said: "Police received a report of the sudden death of a 19 year old male whose body was discovered in a house in the New Street area of Sion Mills yesterday afternoon, Sunday 28 July.

"A post mortem examination will take place in due course to determine the cause of death."
