Police have arrested a 29-year-old man following a reported incident at a property in West Belfast on Saturday night.

It's reported that at approximately 11pm last night, a brick had been thrown through the window of a house in the Westrock Park area by three men dressed in black.

The men subsequently made off in the area in a silver coloured Skoda Octavia car, it's been alleged.

The man remains in police custody at this stage and police say their enquiries are continuing.

A PSNI spokesperson added: "Police would appeal to anyone who witnessed the incident or who saw anything suspicious in the area, to contact police on 101 quoting reference number 2390-13/06/21.

"Alternatively, a report can be made using the online reporting form via www.psni.police.uk/makeareport. Information can also be provided to Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at www.crimestoppers-uk.org."

Meanwhile, motorists are advised that the Dundrum Road in Co Down is now closed following a three vehicle road traffic collision earlier this afternoon.

Diversions are in place, and police are asking that drivers avoid the area and seek an alternative routes.
