PSNI appeal after man found with injuries in his vehicle in Co Tyrone

Detectives are investigating after the report of an assault in Co Tyrone yesterday.

Police said at around 10:20am, it was reported a man was discovered in his vehicle at an address on Littlebridge Road, Coagh and had sustained injuries, including to his head.

The man was taken to hospital for treatment of his injuries, which are not believed to be life threatening at this time.

PSNI Detective Inspector Michael Winters said: "We are conducting enquiries as to how the man sustained his injuries, and would appeal to anyone who may have been in the area between 1am this morning and the time the report was made to us to call detectives on 101, quoting reference number 549 of 22/08/20.
