PSNI appeal after late night shooting in Coleraine

Detectives are appealing to the public for help following reports of a shooting in Coleraine.

Shortly before 11:30pm on Thursday, September 30, it was reported to police that shots had been fired at a property in the Elms Park area.

Detective Sergeant Higgins said: “No one was inside at the time, with damage caused to the downstairs window and the front door of the flat as a result of the incident.”

In a statement the following day, police said enquiries are continuing to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident and appealed to anyone with any information to contact detectives on 101, quoting reference number 2089 30/09/21.

Alternatively, a report can be made online using the non-emergency reporting form.

You can also contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online.
