PSG XI vs Inter Milan: Starting lineup, confirmed team news, injury latest for Champions League final today

Up top: Ousmane Dembele - (AP)

Desire Doue gets the nod over Bradley Barcola in the Champions League final as Paris Saint-Germain’s head coach Luis Enrique makes a big selection decision in attack for the Champions League final.

The pair were both in the running to start alongside Ousmane Dembele and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia in his front three against Inter Milan.

Both Barcola and Doue started the French Cup final last weekend, when Kvaratskhelia was an unused substitute as PSG beat Reims 3-0.

Barcola got two goals and an assist in that game but Doue got two assists, leaving Enrique with a tough call.

Doue got the nod for the first leg of the semi-final against Arsenal and both started the second leg when Dembele was struggling with an injury.

Kvaratskhelia has been struggling with a minor issue but starts on the left in Munich. Dembele leads the line.

Gianluigi Donnarumma returns in goal after Matvey Safonov started the French Cup final.

Donnarumma has been outstanding in PSG’s run to the Champions League final, producing brilliant displays in their wins against Liverpool, Aston Villa and Arsenal.

Achraf Hakimi, Marquinhos, Willian Pacho and Nuno Mendes are the regular PSG back four and will line up behind a midfield two of Vitinha and Fabian Ruiz.

Left-back Nuno Mendes is set for an intriguing battle with Inter right-back Denzel Dumfries on that flank. Both full-backs have been among the best players in the Champions League this season.

PSG confirmed starting XI: Donnarumma; Mendes, Pacho, Hakimi, Marquinhos; Vitinha, Neves, Fabian Ruiz; Dembele, Doue, Kvaratskhelia
