Paris Saint-Germain can seal their sixth Ligue 1 title in seven seasons on Sunday with a little help from Europa League-chasing Stade Reims.
The side from Champagne are having a fine season and currently sit sixth, just two points off Marseille and four off Saint-Etienne in fourth place.
Reims play second-placed Lille on Sunday afternoon knowing that if they can avoid defeat then PSG will seal the championship with a win over Strasbourg later that night.
Lille host PSG next weekend, meaning confirmation of the Parisians’ title win is likely no more than a week away.
PSG have won eight Ligue 1 games in a row, while a 3-0 win in the first leg of the French Cup semi-final on Wednesday leaves them on course for a domestic double.
Thomas Tuchel’s side were memorably eliminated from the Champions League by an epic Manchester United comeback at the round-of-16 stage while they suffered a shock elimination to En Avant Guingamp in France’s League Cup back in January.
They avenged that defeat with a 9-0 league win 10 days later.
