It'll be a scandal in Paris if PSG lose to Liverpool and don't qualify for Champions League knockouts

Liverpool head to Paris knowing that their Champions League hopes rest firmly in their own hands.

Should Jurgen Klopp's side beat Paris Saint-Germain at the Parc des Princes on Wednesday night, Liverpool will book their place in the Champions League knockout rounds.

However, should the Reds slip up they will require a home win over Napoli in their final Group C game to ensure they progress and don't taste disappointment just months after reaching the final, which they lost to Real Madrid.

Such a task will be made difficult by the Parisians, who will be vying not to make an early exit from a competition they are desperate to win.

To find out just how important lifting the Champions League is to PSG, Standard Sport sat down with PSG correspondent at Goal, Sabrina Belalmi, to talk about the Ligue 1 giants.
