The fourth official from PSG's clash with Istanbul Basaksehir, Sebastian Coltescu, is set to quit football as the fallout from his alleged racism continues.
Players walked off which forced the game's abandonment when the Romanian was accused of directing racist comments at Istanbul Basaksehir coach Pierre Webo.
He has been given a 10-match ban, but may quit the game all together.
UEFA's rules mean Coltescu can be hit with the same 10-match ban a player would face for racism.
FIFA have removed the Romanian from their list of officials who can be appointed to future games.
But after the contest he spoke to reporters and protested his innocence, claims The Sun.
“I just try to be good," he said.
“I’m not going to read any news these next few days. Anyone who knows me knows that I’m not racist. At least, that’s what I hope.”
A new set of officials were appointed for the game once it resumed on Wednesday evening to see out the final 76 minutes.
Both sets of players came together before the match and wore "No to Racism" t-shirts in the warm-up.
PSG went on to win the game 5-1 with Neymar grabbing a hat-trick and Kylian Mbappe scoring twice.
In light of Coltescu's intention to quit football UEFA have been informed that the official attempted to take his own life following regular criticism of his domestic performances and recognises it has a duty of care towards him.
An investigation will also take place regarding alleged racism directed at the Romanian.
One of the member of the Istanbul bench shouted: “In my country, Romanians are gypsies" in a video that has since surfaced.
