PSG stars Neymar and Kylian Mbappe fit to face Liverpool in Champions League

Kylian Mbappe and Neymar are "100 per cent fit" to face Liverpool on Wednesday, Paris Saint-Germain boss Thomas Tuchel has confirmed.

Mbappe was forced off half an hour into France's 1-0 win over Uruguay last week after sustaining a shoulder injury during a challenge with goalkeeper Martin Campana.

Neymar, meanwhile, lasted just six minutes of Brazil's friendly meeting with Cameroon having felt discomfort in his ankle.

Both men trained on Tuesday, however, and will be ready to take on Jurgen Klopp's men in the Champions League on Wednesday evening, according to Tuchel.

Asked about the big-money duo, he said: "Yes, Neymar is 100% and Mbappe as well. They are fit."

The German also rejected suggestions that he might be taking a risk with the pair's fitness by declaring them fit for Wednesday's game.

He added: “If they were not fit they could not play. They didn’t complain yesterday or today and for me right now there is no risk.”
