PSG star Kylian Mbappe makes transfer statement amid Liverpool links

PSG forward Kylian Mbappe has taken to social media to address speculation around his future at the club.

Mbappe’s future is under intense speculation with reports regularly emerging claiming he is set to leave Le Parc des Princes this summer.

Liverpool have been tentatively linked with a blockbuster move for the France World Cup winner in recent months.

Although any move for Mbappe would require a world-record fee to be paid to secure the youngster's services.

Jurgen Klopp, just last year, laughed off links to the forward admitting that the transfer fee would be problematic for most clubs in world football, but that hasn't reports emerging linking his side with a move over the last few months.

And taking to Twitter tonight, the Frenchman wrote: “#TBT Everyone is talking, but nobody knows...MISS MY TEAM @PSG_inside.”

Mbappe, according to the latest figures, is valued at around £300million, well in excess of the current world record fee of €222million (£195million) PSG paid Barcelona for Neymar in the summer of 2017.

Last season, he was the third top goalscorer in Europe with 39 goals, one fewer than Robert Lewandowski and 12 short of Lionel Messi.

Mbappe has also been linked with a move to Spanish giants Real Madrid this summer.
