PSG's wantaway star Neymar 'offers himself to Manchester United and others'

Wantaway Paris Saint-Germain star Neymar has 'offered himself to Manchester United and others,' according to reports.

Neymar went AWOL after refusing to return to PSG for training earlier this month, as it became abundantly clear he wanted to leave the club.

A return to Barcelona has been highly touted with reports claiming that even Lionel Messi wanted to see the Brazilian come back to the Camp Nou.

However, the Catalans have already splashed out near £200m this summer on the signings of Frenkie de Jong and Antoine Griezmann, so it's unclear how they'd be able to afford Neymar's astronomical fee.

One way around it would be to offer players in part exchange, which is what Barcelona have reportedly done by offering Philippe Coutinho, Ousmane Dembele and cash for Neymar - but it is thought to have been rejected as PSG.

It's claimed the Parisiens just want cash in an attempt to recuperate the £200million they paid to Barcelona just two years ago.

According to Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo, cited by The Sun, Neymar has 'opened the door' to a move to United and has 'offered himself to the club.'

It's claimed that United are 'among the mega clubs that the forward is considering' although Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Juventus are all also options.

However, it's also reported that United's 'failure to qualify for the Champions League could prove fatal to their hopes.'

Elsewhere, United have reportedly submitted an opening £50m bid for Bruno Fernandes.

The  Daily Mirror   claim that United are ready to offer the 24-year-old a £5.5m a year salary over a four-year contract – which works out at roughly £100,000-a-week.

MEN Sport understands Fernandes, Harry Maguire and Sean Longstaff are United’s main targets as they look to complete business before the start of the season.
