PSG 'ready to offer Sergio Ramos £18m three-year deal' to seal transfer from Real Madrid

Paris Saint-Germain are set to offer Real Madrid skipper Sergio Ramos a lucrative contract at the Parc des Princes, it has been claimed.

The fiery centre-back's future with Los Blancos - who he joined 15-years ago from Sevilla - is currently up in the air.

The 34-year-old's contract with the Spanish champions is set to expire in the summer and negotiations over a new deal have hit a standstill.

And according to reports, Real's French counterparts PSG are keeping close tabs on the situation with a view to offering the stalwart a big-money deal.

Spanish newspaper AS claim the Parisians are willing to offer the veteran defender a three-year deal worth a whopping £18million per season.

Real are eager to tie their skipper down to a new deal, so much so they're willing to break their protocol for players over the age of 30 and offer him a two-year extension.

Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane is hopeful the club will come to terms with Ramos, recently saying: "As always, he is our captain, our leader.

"We want him here forever, it is what he is doing, showing that he always wants to. I have no doubt that he will stay and that it will continue to make history."

Ramos is currently on international duty with Spain, who will lock horns with Germany on Tuesday in a crucial Nations League clash.

La Furia Roja boss Luis Enrique is well aware of the speculation surrounding Ramos' future but is confident it won't negatively affect his skipper.

"Everything that is generated around Ramos is neither new, nor old, nor is it anything," Enrique said.

"It is what it is and what it means to have a player of this level. It is normal that there is pressure around and you have to live with that.

"If there is someone with enough experience to handle this personal situation it is Sergio Ramos.

"He is well prepared, and I see him the same as the first day we arrived at the national team, his enthusiasm, his leadership.

"His face does not change at all and this is part of the things that a footballer should know how to carry."
