PSG manager Thomas Tuchel believes Everton star Moise Kean is already 'very important'

On-loan Everton striker Moise Kean has been praised after continuing his superb scoring run with Paris Saint-Germain.

The 20-year-old Italian striker has made an impressive start to loan life in the French capital and has featured regularly for last season's Champions League finalists.

After only managing four goals in 37 appearances during a challenging first campaign at Goodison Park, Kean's goal for PSG in their 3-0 win over Rennes on Saturday was his fifth for the French champions in his last five games.

Coach Thomas Tuchel praised him after the game and said him excellent form is making him really hard to play against.

Tuchel told a news conference (via Beinsports ): "He has a big heart, he puts on intensity.

"He is not afraid, he is courageous. He does what is necessary.

"I wouldn't want to be a defender against him right now, it's really hard to play against him.

"It's very important for us because we miss that in certain times."

Carlo Ancelotti insisted recently Kean will return to Goodison next season to rejoin the Everton squad after his PSG loan finishes.

The Blues would not agree to the inclusion of an option to buy in the terms of Kean's loan and Ancelotti has confirmed he will return to the club in July because "this is what the contract says".

Speaking last month, Ancelotti said: “I didn't speak with him but I saw him score four goals in two games.

"This is good. This is good for Paris Saint Germain, for him and for us also.

"We decided to allow him to go on loan, to play more, to have more opportunity to play more.

"He is showing his quality and he will be back next season.”
