United star de Gea has just one year left on his Old Trafford deal and talks have stalled over a new contract.
French giants PSG are long-time admirers of the Spaniard but have informed him to stay an extra year at the Red Devils in order to get him on a free next summer.
Reds on alert over Werner
The Daily Mail claim RB Leipzig manager Ralf Rangnick has put Liverpool on red alert over the availability of major target Timo Werner.
Werner has one year left to run on his contract at the Bundesliga side and has been heavily linked to Anfield.
Rangnick says there has been no contact over the player but that he can leave if he wants.
He said: "Our position is that if he does not renew the contract, he should change clubs.
"He has let us know and implied that he will not renew the contract. He would first have to agree with a club and this club would have to contact RB, which has not happened to my knowledge."
Ziyech's dream move
Ajax star Hakim Ziyech has said a move to Barcelona or Arsenal would be a dream.
The attacking midfielder, who has a release clause of just £25m and is one of Europe's hottest properties, revealed that he was a Gunners fan in a 2017 interview.
He told Ajax TV: “Well, I have two clubs.
“They are Arsenal and Barcelona. That is my ultimate dream.”
