Paris-Saint Germain have reportedly joined Chelsea and Tottenham in the race to sign Dean Henderson from under Manchester United's noses.
Red Devils keeper Henderson has had an impressive second season on loan at Sheffield United, forcing his way into the thoughts of England manager Gareth Southgate ahead of this summer's Euro 2020 finals.
The Blades would also be keen to snap him up on a permanent basis - and the 22-year-old's performances have given his parent club a dilemma.
Henderson is viewed as a future No1 at Old Trafford, but David de Gea is standing in his way having signed a new contract last summer which commits him to United until 2023.
So United face a decision over how to handle Henderson's future, knowing they could risk losing him if another club can offer him a better opportunity.
French champions PSG are the latest club to enter the race for Henderson as they look to freshen up their squad with young talent, according to the Daily Mail.
Chelsea need competition for Kepa Arrizabalaga as doubts persist over the Spain keeper, who has been dropped for the past two games.
Tottenham also need a back-up keeper as Michel Vorm is due to leave when his short-term deal expires at the end of the season.
With first-choice keeper Hugo Lloris now 33, Henderson would no doubt be groomed as his successor if he were to join Tottenham.
That would also be the case at United, although De Gea is four years younger than Lloris.
Henderson has yet to win a senior cap for England and has only had one call-up, but insists he can depose Jordan Pickford.
“Hopefully I can nail down my position in the Euros squad, first and foremost,” he told the BBC.
“Being ambitious like I am, and I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that, I’ve got my eyes on the shirt.
“I’ve just got to keep performing, keep doing well and hopefully get an opportunity because you can’t prove anything without an opportunity, then see where we are in the summer."
