Champions League draw: Who Chelsea, Liverpool, Man City and Man United can face in round of 16

All four Premier League clubs, including Chelsea, are through to the round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League.

The Blues managed to finish in second-place in Group H after Zenit Saint Petersburg fired in a stoppage-time equaliser in their clash on Wednesday evening in Russia.

This means Juventus finish top of the group, with the reigning champions having to settle for second.

Meanwhile, Chelsea's Premier League rivals Liverpool, Manchester City and Manchester United all topped their respective groups.

With the round of 16 draw on Monday, December 13, at 11am (UK time), football.london takes a close look at who each Premier League team could draw in the next round.

All Premier League teams are not able to be drawn against each other until the quarter-final.

Chelsea can face:

Ajax (Netherlands, winners of Group C)

Real Madrid (Spain, winners of Group D)

Bayern Munich (Germany, winners of Group E)

Lille (France, winners of Group G)

Liverpool can face:

Paris Saint-Germain (France, runners-up in Group A)

Sporting Lisbon (Portugal, runners-up in Group C)

Inter Milan (Italy, runners-up in Group D)

Benfica (Portugal, runners-up in Group E)

Villarreal (Spain, runners-up in Group F)

RB Salzburg (Austria, runners-up in Group G)

Manchester City can face:

Atletico Madrid (Spain, runners-up in Group B)

Sporting Lisbon (Portugal, runners-up in Group C)

Inter Milan (Italy, runners-up in Group D)

Benfica (Portugal, runners-up in Group E)

Villarreal (Spain, runners-up in Group F)

RB Salzburg (Austria, runners-up in Group G)

Manchester United can face:

Atletico Madrid (Spain, runners-up in Group B)

Sporting Lisbon (Portugal, runners-up in Group C)

Inter Milan (Italy, runners-up in Group D)

Benfica (Portugal, runners-up in Group E)

RB Salzburg (Austria, runners-up in Group G)

So, for Chelsea, there are four possible opponents and the one they will be hoping to avoid the most is Bayern Munich, undoubtedly.

The Blues showcased last season how they can perform against Real Madrid on the biggest stage.

Chelsea will also be hoping the likes of Liverpool and Man City - who are both going head-to-head with the Blues for the Premier League title - have difficult draws to try and distract them from their domestic responsibilities.
