PSG 'hold talks to sign Paul Pogba' and more transfer rumours

Paris Saint-Germain have held talks with Paul Pogba's representatives over a possible transfer this summer.

That is according to The Mirror who claim Mino Raiola has met with PSG chiefs over a potential move for his client to Paris, with uncertainty surrounding Pogba's future at Manchester United as he heads into the final year of his contract.

It's said that PSG are now emerging as one of the front runners for Pogba's signature, should he seek an exit from Old Trafford in the transfer window, and that talks between United and Raiola over a contract extension aren't currently making any progress.

The article does claim that despite the talks with PSG, Juventus remains Pogba's most likely destination, though.

In more transfer news, while the MEN understandS United have begun talks to sign Raphael Varane this summer, Goal report the Real Madrid centre-back is yet to make a decision on his future despite heading into the final year of his contract at the Bernabeu.

The article claims Varane is currently solely focused on the European Championship with France and that he'll return to discussions over where his long-term future may lie after the tournament, but it's also reported that he hasn't actually asked to leave Madrid.

Also, with Sergio Ramos, 35, set to be available on a free transfer, Goal claim United aren't expected to make a move for the Spaniard.
