PSG fans set off fireworks at 4am outside Barcelona team hotel ahead of Champions League tie

Paris Saint-Germain fans have enacted revenge on their Barcelona counterparts by setting off fireworks outside the Spanish team’s hotel at 4am this morning.

The act comes just weeks after Barcelona supporters did the same outside PSG’s hotel before the side’s met in the first leg of their Champions League last-16 tie.

Barca fans had hoped to derail Mauricio Pochettino’s side with an early wake-up call back then, but PSG ended up winning the first leg at the Nou Camp 4-1.

And now the PSG fans have exacted revenge for that ploy by setting off fireworks outside the Barcelona team hotel in Paris in the early hours of this morning.

Footage posted on social media shows fireworks going off at 4am outside the Barca hotel, in what looks like a rude awakening for them.

The two sides are due to face each other tonight at Parc des Princes.
