PSG eye huge Arsenal transfer raid amid move for Gunners icon Thierry Henry and Julian Nagelsmann

Arsenal could be forced to brace for interest from PSG this summer as a whole host of players have been linked with a move to the French capital. This may only be pushed further as reports claim that club icon Thierry Henry is an option to join the Ligue 1 champions in the coming weeks.

The move would be as an assistant coach, with reports from FootMercato stating the former forward could join Julian Nagelsmann, who is considered a serious option for PSG for next season. The club are currently still coached by Christophe Galtier, but with the exit of Lionel Messi and Sergio Ramos, there's a sense of a new era coming and the manager is expected to leave his post.

For Henry it would represent a step back into coaching following his previously spells alongside his usual punditry work. His most recent job was with the Belgium national team alongside Roberto Martinez, but the ex-Everton boss' exit also coincided with Henry's eventual move away.

The 45-year-old's potential switch to PSG could see the side step up their reported interest in players at his former side Arsenal too. Previous links stated that club captain Martin Odegaard was on the radar of the Parisians, with his contract dwindling, but there is currently no sign of any exit.

That's not all though, as GOAL has reported that there is also interest in Gunners defender Gabriel Magalhaes heading into the summer window. The Brazilian has impressed over the course of the season, cementing his place in the team and eventually earning a new contract too.

With that in mind, the report states that Gabriel has no intention of leaving the club or forcing a move this summer, making an exit unlikely. While the north London club will hope they won't reunite with Henry in the transfer market, a return to the Champions League could see a showdown once again if the draw pits them against one another.
