Fresh Odegaard claim
Arsenal are already plotting a permanent move for Real Madrid loan star Martin Odegaard ahead of the summer.
That's according to the Daily Mail, who say Mikel Arteta has already been convinced by the Norwegian, who only joined the Gunners on loan from Real Madrid in late January.
Odegaard has started twice for Arsenal so far, making a further two appearances off the bench, but he is already making an impact in Arteta's eyes, despite the Gunners' poor form.
The only issue - and it is a big one - will be that Real Madrid do not want to sell Odegaard, preferring to allow Dani Ceballos to join the Gunners permanently.
Bellerin transfer plotted
French heavyweights Paris Saint-Germain are poised to revive their interest in Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin this summer.
That is according to a report by CBS Sports, who claim the Spaniard is keen to test himself outside of the Premier League.
As revealed by football.london last summer, Bellerin was at crossroads in regards to his future at the Emirates Stadium, questioning whether or not he wanted to be part of Mikel Arteta's long-term plans in north London.
The Spaniard, however, elected to stay with the Gunners and has proven to be a regular fixture in Arteta's plans this season, racking up 27 appearances in all competitions.
But despite that, Bellerin is keen to leave Arsenal and test himself elsewhere, meaning PSG are ready to reignite their interest in the 25-year-old.
The French club are not alone in eyeing up a potential move for the right-back, as Barcelona and at least two Serie A clubs also monitoring the situation.
Merson slams Gunners
Sky Sports pundit Paul Merson believes Arsenal looked 'out of their depth' against Manchester City on Sunday.
"I played at Arsenal for a good number of years a long time ago and it is just a phenomenal football club. It's a Rolls Royce of a football club but when you look where they are now, it's just hard to watch," he told Sky Sports.
"Man City used to be a million miles away and talk about turning things on its head, they are so far ahead of Arsenal. The only thing that can give you hope if you are an Arsenal fan is that you can watch City and think things can turn around.
"I was so disappointed yesterday. It's so easy for me to sit and say Arsenal should have had a right go at Man City because I know you can end up losing 4-0 or 5-0, and then it looks an awful result. But if you look at Arsenal's performance, they looked out of their depth and that was really worrying.
"When they got to 75 minutes and were only a goal down, they had to have a right go. But it looked like the players just didn't have that belief. It seems a long time ago now and it was a long time ago that Arsenal had that.
"They had that fear factor for teams playing them. I found it a really hard watch."
