Mauricio Pochettino says Paris Saint-Germain must improve their home form to overcome "the best team in the world" in Bayern Munich on Tuesday night.

Despite his side holding a 3-2 advantage ahead of the Champions League quarter-final second leg in the French capital, the former Tottenham manager is conscious that his players need to match their form on the road at the Parc des Princes.

The French champions advanced from the last 16 following a 4-1 away win in the first leg against Barcelona before a 1-1 draw at home.

Domestically, their strongest Ligue 1 display of the campaign came last month in a 4-2 win at rivals Lyon, which was followed nine days ago by a 1-0 home defeat against Lille.

“I agree that we’ve been better away from home,” Pochettino said.

“It is something we will have to look into at the end of the season but let’s hope things start turning around [against Bayern].”
