PSG and Basaksehir Champions League game SUSPENDED as players walk off after fourth official racism allegation

Basaksehir and Paris Saint-Germain players walked off the pitch after fourth official Sebastian Coltescu was accused of making a racist comment.

The pair met in the final Champions League group game with the French champions looking to secure the win that would take them through as group winners.

With 13 minutes on the clock though there was a flare-up on the touchline, with Pierre Webo appearing to accuse the Romanian fourth official of making a racist comment.

He was sent off but former Chelsea striker Demba Ba, among the substitutes, backed up the allegation and Basaksehir walked off the pitch.

Home players Presnel Kimpembe and Neymar also asked for an explanation.

The Frenchman was picked up saying: "What? What? Is he serious? We are heading in. We are heading in. That is it, we are heading in."

After some discussions on the side of the field the PSG players followed with the game suspended at an empty Parc des Princes.

The Turkish club's Twitter account then posted: "No to racism #respect".

According to RMC's pitchside reporter Basaksehir were asked to resume at 10pm local time, in line with the second half of the rest of Tuesday's matches, but no response was given.

It appears the issue may have been the fourth official telling the referee he should send off "the black guy".

RMC reports that Ba said: "You never say: 'This white guy.'

"Why when you mention a black guy, do you have to say 'this black guy?'.

The match has an impact on the other games in the group, with qualification still up in the air.

Manchester United will go through if they avoid defeat by RB Leipzig, but will be second if PSG win their game.

The Germans, meanwhile, will qualify if they beat United, or if they draw and Paris lose to Basaksehir.
