PS5 stock updates from Curry's, Game, Amazon, Argos, John Lewis, Very, Smyths and AO

Gamers hoping to get hold of a PS5 have been warned that the 'adverse weather conditions' has delayed stock.

Shoppers have been waiting for stock news for months following the PS5 release back in November last year, with many struggling to get their hands on the device.

Playstation5 fans have been told that PS5 stock account on Twitter says that an expected drop at GAME might come on Thursday (tomorrow).

However, there is some good news as the account @Ps5Instant also suggested that Currys are likely to release stock tomorrow too.

They said: "UPDATE: Due to adverse weather conditions, GAME drop has been delayed to the 11th of February, 9-12. Currys will likely release this Thursday aswell."

One gamer replied: "I literally give up I’m just gonna wait til they're in stores. My PS4 is fine for now only had it for a year."

Another asked: "How does weather conditions affect this?" to which a fellow gamer replied: "It's not a delay in shipping them out, it's shipping them in that's the issue. It's the stock arriving at the distribution centres that's delayed."

We've taken a look at the latest updates from the retailer's most likely to get stock, and here's what we found:

John Lewis

A statement on the John Lewis website said: "Thank you to everyone who has visited us and placed an order for a PS5. We are now out of stock.

"Unfortunately, PlayStation 5 consoles will not be available for purchase at our John Lewis & Partners shops or from our contact centres."

Very

Online retailer Very shared a statement to its website, which reads: "Unfortunately we have sold out of our PS5 consoles for now. We have more stock coming so keep checking back for our next drop."

Argos

Argos has not listed an update on when shoppers can expect more stock.

AO

A note on AO's website says: "Sorry, Playstation 5 is currently unavailable."

Amazon

Amazon's website says the retailer does not know "when or if" the PS5 will be back in stock.

Smyths

Smyths has now sold out of its allocated stock. A message on the retailer's website says: "All PlayStation 5 stock is now allocated. All pre-orders will be dispatched between 9th and 15th February."

Game

Game no longer has PS5 stock available, with no update on when new stock will arrive.

Though, as one of the leading gaming retailers on the market, we’d expect Game to be among the first to have new stock.

Currys

A note on Curry's website says the retailer is "working tirelessly to secure more stock" and customers should check back for updates.
