PlayStation 5 consoles could drop at leading UK retailers as early as tomorrow, according to stock watchers.
Shoppers could get their hands on the games consoles at John Lewis, Very and Game within 24 hours amid the latest stock development.
The PS5 was released last year but demand so far has outstripped supply and gamers are scrambling to secure further restocks.
The team at PS5 Stock Alert UK have tweeted its predictions for when the consoles will drop at UK stores throughout February.
It has tipped John Lewis to have some by Tuesday, February 9, with further drops to land on February 16 and March 17, sparking excitement among fans.
The restock duration is estimated at eight t nine weeks and the latest restock date was January 19.
The account warned: "Here is a prediction sheet I have made based on previous restocks, calculating when I think retailers would drop stock in February. These are only estimates, so don’t take it seriously. I made this sheet a few days ago and got today’s Smyths drop correct.
PlayStation 5 fans have been dealt a mixed update today as Argos shoppers were delivered a blow.
An insider account on Twitter is reporting Argos has delayed its PS5 restock date until late February, but there are better news for Very, GAME and Smyths fans.
The account told fans: "Today’s Update: Argos have changed their restock date to 23rd & 24th of February on all greens.
"Smyths Toys order confirmations are being sent out today onward with dispatches starting tomorrow.
"Very & GAME are still expected to go live tomorrow."
It added: "We did expect a good chance of Amazon dropping today, and it still can, we never know, but next week Monday seems to be the higher possibility as they dropped 9:27am last time round in January."
