PS5 stock: How to get a PlayStation 5 today as BT and EE confirm restock

After months of anticipation, the PlayStation 5 finally went on sale in the UK last month.

Eager fans flocked to buy the PS5, with retailers including Amazon, John Lewis and Currys selling out in record time.

PlayStation said: "We want to thank gamers everywhere for making the PS5 launch our biggest console launch ever. Demand for PS5 is unprecedented, so we wanted to confirm that more PS5 inventory will be coming to retailers before the end of the year - please stay in touch with your local retailers."

If you still haven’t managed to get your hands on the console there’s good news, as both BT and EE have confirmed that they will have new stock today.

Speaking to The Express, BT said that the PS5 will be available to all existing customers who order online.

Simply head to online and use the MyBT app or website to access PS5 offers today.

Meanwhile, existing EE pay monthly smartphone customers will also have the opportunity to buy the PS5 today.

Go to EE’s 'Add to Plan' service today to get your hands on a PS5!

EE’s website states: “Add the PlayStation 5 Disc Edition to your plan for just £40 a month for 11 months, with £10 upfront cost.

“Please note: If you order today, you’ll be amongst the first customers to receive this item by 15th December. The upfront cost may not be taken immediately upon ordering - don't worry, we'll sort it as your order progresses.”

Unfortunately, neither BT or EE have confirmed exactly what time the PS5 will be available today, or how many they’ll have in stock.

Buying a PS5 has proved tricky for many frustrated gamers, with some even receiving other items instead of their pre-ordered consoles.

Freelance journalist Bex April May claims that she was sent an air fryer instead of her PS5.

And Robert Russell, 24 from Corby, was horrified when he opened the box to find that he had been sent a packet of kitchen roll, two packets of toilet roll, two packets of A4 paper and a small fan heater.

For those still scrambling to find any last available stock, here is a full breakdown of what we know so far.
