Another batch of PlayStation 5 consoles has been snapped up after fans rushed to buy GAME's second drop on Thursday.
The video game retailer released two batched of stock on Thursday - one in the morning and the second over lunchtime - prompting gamers to rush to GAME's website.
Both batches were sold out within minutes, leaving numerous fans frustrated as some received messages saying the console was out of stock, while others ended up in lengthy order queues.
PS5StockAlertUK, which tweets fans with news of restocks, told fans on Wednesday that an estimated 10,000 PS5s would be released for pre-order by GAME.
After GAME dropped its new supply on Thursday, the account added: "If GAME decides to drop stock bit by bit, I’ll keep posting the alert message each time they drop," suggesting there may be another opportunity later today.
The clamour for a PS5 has come just days after a batch released by Smyths sold out within minutes.
Fans who miss out on Thursday will have to wait until at least next week.
The Twitter tipster tweeted on Tuesday: "Very won’t be going live this week with the PS5. The company is still working hard to secure more stock, and will go live sometime next week."
They also have predicted new supplies at Amazon on Monday February 15, John Lewis on Tuesday February 16 and Argos on February 23-24.
Those who have managed to order from GAME can expect their consoles later this month.
GAME told them: "If you select our Priority Insured delivery method (details can be found on the product page) your order will be shipped by the 19th February, all other delivery method orders will be shipped by the 26th February."
