It's the most coveted item of the year but does Santa have any PS5s left in his workshops around Ireland?
Well, with a plethora of retailers struggling to keep the supply up with excessive demand and a series of bots nefariously buying up consoles in a bid to sell them at a higher price, the odds are stacked against shoppers.
However, someone has created a Twitch stream that will instantly tell shoppers when the PS5 is back in stock.
As you'd expect, the feed is generated by a lot of 'Out of Stock' updates, but it's certainly worth keeping an eye on in the chance that you might get lucky.
Twitch user Cosie90 has created this stock checker for stores in Ireland, as well as stores in the EU and the UK that deliver to Ireland. You can view it here.
On another note, here's the latest for those that are looking to pick up a PS5.

Smyths Ireland
When asked about their stock supplies of the PS5, they replied to a customer on social media by saying: "Hi there! Please be advised that we are not expecting stock for further orders until January 2021."
In another post to social media, they said: "All PS5 pre-orders for home delivery and collection will be fulfilled by Dec 18th, you will receive a dispatch confirmation when this is dispatched. Once the stock is available in the store and your order has been picked you will receive a ready for collection email."
Tesco Ireland
Sadly, the product is not in stock online via Tesco's website.

GameStop
Both the Digital Edition and regular edition of the console are out of stock.
Harvey Norman
An update from their website said the PS5 is sold out and gamers are being advised to follow their social media accounts for more updates.
For those who might have queries, please note that Twitter is no longer a customer service channel for Harvey Norman and it will not be monitored regularly. For all customer service queries, they're asking customers to contact them via email at: online.customerservice@ie.harveynorman.com.
The most recent update from Argos said that they "are expecting the stock of the PS5 in early 2021 now" while Currys PC World said they're "afraid the console is out of stock and we will not have any further stock in 2020. We will provide more updates online once available. Please keep checking our website and PlayStation’s social channels for official updates."
