A woman died in a flat fire in a leafy Surrey village this morning.
Emergency services were called to Pyrford, near Woking, at roughly 11.20am today.
Several fire crews rushed to the scene along with an emergency ambulance.
The female occupant of the flat was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after Surrey Police officers arrived.

An investigation into the cause of the blaze is underway.
Surrey Live reports the fire was near Pyrford Golf Club.
A spokesman for Surrey Police said: We are investigating the circumstances of a fatal house fire which occurred in Pyrford earlier today.
"Officers were called to a block of flats in Pyrford Road around 11.20am.
"The female occupant at the flat was sadly pronounced dead at the scene shortly after officers arrived.
"Fire crews are also at the property and an investigation is underway."
