Nottingham Forest fans watching Aston Villa's game against Sheffield United tonight were quick to hail the club's academy as three of their former players played in the Premier League clash.
Matty Cash made his debut for Villa following his switch from Forest in the summer, while Oliver Burke and Ben Osborn played for the Blades as Villa eked out a 1-0 win.
It underlined the sterling work of the academy overseen by Gary Brazil as Forest continually churn out players of excellent pedigree.
And it did not go unnoticed by Forest fans as they took to social media to speak of their pride at how Forest played such a crucial role in their development.
