Kris Jenner reportedly wept tears of joy over the news that her billionaire daughter Kylie is pregnant with her second child.
The 65-year-old reality star is proud mother to six children of her own including 24-year-old Kylie – and a growing army of grandchildren.
And news that another child is being welcomed into the Kardashians fold has proven a joyous event for Kris – who is also mum to Kourtney, 42, Kim, 40, Khloe, 37, Rob, 34 and 25-year-old Kendall.
News broke on Friday that Kylie is pregnant with her second child – three-years after she welcomed her first child, daughter Stormi Webster, with 30-year-old Travis Scott – who is also reportedly the father of the second child.
A source told The Sun: “Kris had the strongest reaction, she bursted into tears at the news of having another grandbaby.
"They truly are a family of 'the more the merrier' so the more they can add, they welcome that.”
Meanwhile, Kylie herself is said to be over the moon about expecting her second baby.
The source claimed: “Kylie's always wanted to add more kids, that's no secret so this is a really happy blessing.
"She’s already so much more confident and less worried than the first time around.”
Kris is already grandmother to Kourtney’s children; 11-year-old Mason, nine-year-old Penelope, and six-year-old Reign.
As well as grandmother to Kim’s children; eight-year-old North, five-year-old Saint, three-year-old Chicago, and two-year-old Psalm.
While Kris’s other daughter Khloe has a three-year-old daughter named True, and Rob has a four-year-old daughter named Dream.
On Thursday, reports emerged that Kylie is pregnant with her second child after the reality star’s father, Caitlyn Jenner, seemingly spilled the beans.
The 71-year-old was seen stating on a Facebook video: "Eighteen grandchildren. I keep telling the girls — they're not too excited about this, but — I wanna go for 30.”
“Thirty grandchildren. It's a round number. I just found out the other day that I have another one in the oven. Yes, I found that out the other day. So that's 19, so we only got 10 to go."
The comments sparked a flurry of speculation that Kylie is the pregnant family member.
However, subsequent reports may have thrown doubt on the speculation – as Caitlyn’s son, Burt Jenner, is said to be expecting a child with his girlfriend Valerie Pitalo.
A source told PageSix on Friday: "the California gubernatorial hopeful, 71, was referring to Burt, 42, Thursday when she let it slip that she will soon have 19 grandchildren."
However, the PageSix report goes on to claim Caitlyn will have a 20th grandchild as they also claim Kylie is pregnant with her second baby.
Meanwhile, Kylie has previously discussed her desire to expand her own family, telling Harper's Bazaar last year: "My friends all pressure me about it … They love Stormi. I definitely feel pressure to give her a sibling, but there’s no plan.”
