'Proud moment' - Chelsea fans react as Reece James makes senior England debut in Wales win

Chelsea fans have been congratulating Reece James on his England debut.

James came off the bench for England in the 58th minute, replacing Atletico Madrid star Kieran Tripper to make his senior Three Lions debut.

He helped a much-changed England see out a comfortable 3-0 friendly win over a Wales side who were also without their star players.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin opened the scoring before Conor Coady and Danny Ings rounded off the scoring in the second half.

Is Ruben Loftus-Cheek to Fulham a good move?

James made his debut after impressing for Chelsea in recent months, starting three of the Blues' four Premier League games this season.

And fans have been celebrating the moment James earned his first senior cap on social media.

Here's what they had to say on Twitter.

James has been with Chelsea since his youth days, initially signing at the age of six.

He broke into the first team in 2018 but joined Wigan for an impressive loan spell before coming back and forcing his way into Frank Lampard's plans.
