'Proud' Katie Price ignores trolls with sweet video of son Harvey reading

Katie Price has voiced her pride at her disabled son Harvey after she was forced to name and shame trolls who targeted him online.

The former glamour model praised him on his “brilliant” reading as she shared a sweet clip of the 16-year-old enjoying a book about frogs.

“That is so good, brilliant you make mummy so happy,” she said.

A beaming Harvey then thanked his mum for reading with him, adding: “Love you thanks for reading.”

Fans threw their support behind Harvey, who is blind, autistic and suffers from Prader–Willi syndrome, with many congratulating him on his progress.

One user wrote: “Well done you’re amazing.”

Another commented: “That’s amazing well done Harvey.”

A third added: “So clever. I honestly can’t understand why keyboard warrior trolls think it’s acceptable to bully a poor defenceless child!”

The video comes after Price hit out a trolls who photoshopped a picture of Harvey onto an image of ISIS teenager Shamima Begum. The image was shared alongside the words, “let me back you c****,” in reference to the time Harvey swore on live TV.

Price posted: “This is why I need to get online abuse a criminal offence these people should be named and shamed saying stuff about my son @mrharveyprice.”

She is currently throwing her weight behind Harvey’s Law, which she launched in a bid to rid social media of abuse, after her son was targeted online.

Over 200,000 signed the petition to make online trolling a criminal offence and it also received backing from MPs.

Price is also mother to son Junior, 13, and Princess, 11, with ex-husband Peter Andre and Jett, five, and Bunny, four, with Kieran Hayler. She also recently opened up on possible plans to adopt a Nigerian orphan.
