Proud grandad Danny Dyer dotes on Dani's baby boy by planting sweet kiss on his head

Danny Dyer personified the term 'doting grandad' as he sweetly planted a kiss on his daughter Dani's baby boy.

Love Island beauty Dani Dyer enjoyed some quality family time as she took her son Santiago to see her parents - EastEnders star Danny and Joanne Mas - at the weekend for a BBQ.

Dani is incredibly close to her parents, a trait she is keen to pass on to Santiago.

To mark their sun-soaked day in the garden, reality star uploaded an adorable picture of her father cradling the little one in his arms on her Instagram story.

Dani also shared a string of snaps of herself with Santiago as he excitedly played with bubbles in a frog-themed paddling pool.

She shaded him from the heat with a handy sun shelter in the sprawling garden.

Dani looked incredible in a patterned bikini top, which she teamed with a pair of denim shorts. She had her sunglasses perched on top of her head and accessorised with bracelets and rings to complete her look.

She cradled her son in her arms, holding him close as she posed for a snap in the floor length mirror.

Dani confessed soon after the baby's arrival that her father Danny had been "so emotional" around the baby.

She told OK! magazine: "He’s been so emotional around Santi. Literally the other day he was nearly crying like, 'I love babies and that, but your baby ... I've never felt anything like this'. Santiago's his first grandchild and I feel like that's hit him more after the birth."

The mum-of-one had a tough experience when Santiago arrived as she had to have an unplanned C-section.

"I never wanted to have a C-section. I know they are very common and I know they happen but I never wanted one - that was never in my birth plan, so I started feeling like a failure," she recalled on her Sorted with the Dyers podcast.

"The baby didn’t want to come out, my waters broke and I was at five centimetres and he wasn’t dilating. I ended up having to have a c-section, it was an emotional day."
