The Royal Thai Consulate-General in Hong Kong yesterday issued a warning for Thai visitors to beware of protests that are heating up.
The warning urged visitors to avoid some areas in Admiralty, Central, Wan Chai and Causeway Bay.
The statement warned that protests in Hong Hong have the potential to flare up into bloody violence.
Huge crowds thronged the country yesterday as anger swells over plans to allow extradition to China, a proposal that has sparked the biggest public backlash against the city's pro-Beijing leadership in years.
