Angry US prosecutors are threatening to have Conrad Black's bail revoked because they allege he has grossly misrepresented his personal fortune. They want a judge to force the sale of his multi-million dollar Florida mansion in order to secure his $20m bail. Failing that, they will ask for the former Telegraph group owner to be jailed. According to the prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald, Black "has failed to comply with numerous conditions of his current [bail] bond." Black's lawyers said they will respond in court later this week.
