Prosecutor Condemns Trump's Violation Of Gag Order

Former U.S. President and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump attends a "commit to caucus" event, in Ankeny

Prosecutor Chris Conroy has raised concerns over former President Donald Trump's actions regarding reposting statements that may violate a gag order in place. Conroy has criticized Trump's argument that he should be allowed to repost others' statements without repercussions, stating that it goes against common sense.

Conroy highlighted one particular instance where Trump shared an article last year featuring him holding a baseball bat, deeming it as one of his 'most dangerous statements.' According to Conroy, Trump's reposts are seen as direct attacks on witnesses, potential jurors, and jurors involved in the legal proceedings.

Conroy emphasized that Trump's actions are a deliberate breach of the court's directives established on April 1, which were specifically designed to safeguard the integrity of the ongoing legal process. By reposting content that targets specific individuals involved in the case, Trump is disregarding the boundaries set by the court to maintain a fair and impartial trial.
